As a self-funded rescue we are always looking for new ideas, ways and of course, people to help us fundraise for the animals throughout the year.

Volunteering

Maybe you have some spare time that you could use to help? We are continuously looking for new people to join our team of volunteers in all areas of the rescue. Whether it be one hour a week or one Saturday a month, helping with a fundraising stall at an event or helping muck out and feed the field animals, we would be very thankful for any help that you could offer.

Fundraising

What about holding a fundraising event yourself with the rescue being the charity you wish the donations to go to. Maybe a coffee morning with a yummy cake sale, a crafting session, a sponsored silence or bike ride, a jumble/garage sale selling all the items you no longer need! We are truly grateful for all the fundraising done for the animals in our care.

Fostering Animals

As a foster-based rescue, we also need a supply of foster homes based within a 45-minute drive of Finedon, who are willing to take a dog or cat into their home giving them a safe, secure and warm place while they are under the rescue's care.

We are also proud to be an approved rehoming centre for the Retired Greyhound Association. If you could offer a safe space to an ex-racing greyhound, please contact us.

While the animal is with the fosterer, we will provide everything that is needed and all vets fees are the rescue's responsibility. All we ask of a fosterer is a warm, safe place, along with love and kindness for the animal while they are with you. We will support and advise you every step of the way.

The foster home does have the opportunity to adopt if it is the best option for that animal. We are always pleased when this happens but then the need for more foster homes and families grows greater.

Donations

The rescue attends a lot of fundraising events throughout Northamptonshire and we rely on the generous donations of items from people and businesses that we can raffle, tombola or Auction to help us raise funds for vets bills for the animals while they are in our care. Any unwanted gifts are gratefully received.
